My favorite wheels in the palm of my hands

Take notes from the legends
Obviously I had to try to replicate some designs which I considered to be extremely stylish. There are a LOT of ugly wheels out there. First up was my holy grail - Racing Service Watanabe to scale, 14x8j et0

Lessons in cutting by extrusion
Next up was a friends Apex ARC-8 in 18x9.5 and some factory BMW M-Parallel replicas in similar sizing. I also tried my hand at recreating real tire tread from Firestone IndyHawk tires with good success.

Satisfaction of concave wheel designs
Finally I had printed replicas of my wheels. Maybe someday when I get better at printing rubber I’ll print some tires too.
These would make cool coasters! (I thought to myself)
